Kurve™ CNC Brakeset UK Exclusive!- read review in June issue Cycling Plus
3rd May 2008, 15:13 BST | Website News | New In House brand for Carbontec, for 2008 is to be KURVE™, a host of products will be introduced throughout the year, but the start the ball rolling, as it were, we have introduced the eagerly anticipated CNC brakeset,a product that we are sure will be a hit.
These CnC brakes are availble exclusively in the Uk under the KURVE™ branding, and available in a variety of colours to match most bike paint work.
We have secured the brakeset design, enabling us to promote the KURVE™ branding on these brakes, and have worked hard with the maker, to get these absolutely superb in respoect of both looks and performance. We are also embarking on a structured plan of promotions, and reviews to follow in high profile magazines
Another action we implemented, was to put all our efforts into thier design, and looks, as well as gaining every ounce of performance we could, and decided not to over-package the box they come in!
This said , we use recycled and recyclable packaging, for minimal waste, eviromentally friendly disposal or recycling.
So,very excited we are, to be able to finally offer a real super light bike stopper, made to exacting standards from the best 7075T alloy, these brakes are a serious competitor to any on the market.
Superlight does not always mean they will stop you, bit in independent test, they proved to both light and super stopping power.
Patented design, means that their unique design, give an unparalleled stopping power for a single pivot design, and almost feels a kin to a dual pivot.
The cam lever mechanism, modulates the caliper with equal force to both arms giving smooth yet controllable braking power, this was surprising at first and really did inspire confidence when any need to brake arose.
Cnc detailing give the exact proportions of weight versus strength, and finish to all parts is superb.
Hardware is Ti bolt, and 7075 alloy barrel adjusters and frame fixings.
Available in CNC and polished black,red,silver with a very limited edition Gold anodised.
