They start out life as pair of normal but still good quality BBB jockey wheels, we then strip out the 2 steel balled bearings , and refit a pair of ceramic balled versions instead.
The difference is absolutely astounding, spin the normal wheels in your fingers they spin once if you are lucky! the ceramic versions spin almost 8 or 9 times! that is some friction free spinning.
The bearings are based around a stainless steel shell, with stainless steel inner rings and races.These are widely known as Hybrid Bearings, because of the different materials used.
